Introducing Worker Connect Team Mode

Introducing Worker Connect Team Mode

If you manage a construction team, you know that collaboration is key to getting the job done efficiently and effectively. You also understand that keeping track of everyone's whereabouts, licenses, and skills can be a full-time job in itself.

Things get even more complicated when you include all temporary workers who come and go from different job sites. Paying for all their licenses, managing their skills and profiles, and validating their work hours is a lot to keep track of - especially when you're already busy overseeing the construction project itself.

That's why, at Logifleet, we've decided to address our customers' concerns, and we're happy to announce that Worker Connect now includes Team Mode!

We designed Worker Connect Team Mode with construction teams in mind. With our new feature, you can easily add people to different teams and assign them to a project they are currently working on.

Plus, our flexible license model means that you only pay for the licenses you need - no need to pay for employees who are currently not working. And, with our new offline mode, you can easily keep track of your team's progress even when no network is available.

We know that construction managers have a lot on their plate. That's why we've designed Worker Connect Team Mode to be simple and easy to use so that you can focus on what's important: getting the job done.

But, let's start from the beginning.

Simplicity and Flexibility for Construction Managers

While both, the classic Worker Connect and the Worker Connect Team Mode can be customized by their user, the classic one is much more individualized. With it, each worker enters their own working hours, which proved challenging for some customers. Not every worker had access to a smartphone or the license to use Worker Connect. This also made it difficult for supervisors to track their team's progress.

In response to our customer's feedback, we decided to design Worker Connect Team Mode with a focus on simplicity and flexibility.

Using the Team Mode, you don't have to register you time every time you are changing the activity. In fact, you do exactly what you used to do it on the paper; Enter how long you have been working, or when you start and end your working day.

With our new features, you can easily add people to different teams and assign them to a project or a WBS (Work Breakdown Structure) they are working on. This makes it easy for you to track your team's progress and keep everyone on the same page. It also allows customers to import or create work breakdowns and project structures, allowing them to keep track of which employees are working on which parts of the project and to track progress on the construction site.

With Team Mode, each worker with an active license will be able to view their team's activities for the day and what their coworkers are working on. They can also view the project's progress and see where they fit into the big picture.

With the introduction of Team Mode, the foreman can collect their team's working hours, as well as the working times of their equipment and machines. This way, the customer can be invoiced for every worker and the use of equipment, and they can see the total hours worked on the project, monitor the progress, as well as the total costs.

Team Mode also allows the foreman to collect information on the consumed material, such as cement, wood, or water they use during the day. The foreman can easily fill out the reports within the app and submit them to the office for validation and invoicing. The data can be transferred to the ERP system or integrated into payroll software or business intelligence tools using the APIs or excel exports.

Introducing Worker Connect Team Mode

Switch between the teams, add new team members, and create work reports on the fly

Worker Connect Team Mode allows you to easily manage your teams, add new members, or create work reports - directly from the field. Whether you are a project manager with multiple teams or a foreman in charge of a single group, Worker Connect Team Mode makes it easy to stay on top of your projects and crew.

This feature allows you to:

  • Switch between teams - if you manage multiple teams or need to cover for another foreman, you can easily switch between teams and view all relevant information for each team.
  • Add new team members - if someone new joins your team, or you need to add an extra worker for a specific task, you can add them to your team directly from the app.
  • Assign workers to different projects - if you need to move workers between projects or want to view all projects a specific worker is assigned to, you can do so with just a few clicks.
  • Creating work reports is just as easy - simply select the workers you want to include in the report, the activity they were working on, and the project, and you're all set.

Flexible licenses for maximum productivity

The construction industry is seasonal by nature, so your workforce needs will vary throughout the year. With Worker Connect Team Mode, you have the flexibility to add and remove team members as needed without having to worry about overpaying for licenses.

Worker Connect Team Mode offers flexible licensing, so you can easily add or remove new or old employees, or seasonal team members. With monthly invoicing, you only pay for the licenses you use - making it easy to scale up or down as your needs change. Licenses can be revoked anytime, and users cannot connect to the app once their final month is up.

Not all of your active team members will require a license - for instance, if you have a team of 10 workers, but only four actively use the app to collect data, you will only be charged for four licenses. This makes it easy to manage your budget and ensures you're only paying for what you need. Your team leaders with active licenses can easily collect and review working hours for the entire team, regardless of whether the other team members have an active license.

Stop creating reports based on pen and paper data

If you're still relying on pen and paper to track employee hours or job site data, it's time to switch to Worker Connect Team Mode. With Team Mode, you can easily collect data using a mobile app and submit it for approval. Before the working hours or job site data is submitted, it can be easily edited or deleted. Once the information is submitted, it can only be changed by an authorized user - super admin. That way, you can rest assured that the data is accurate, and no one can change it after the fact.

Using Worker Connect Team Mode, you can easily generate reports based on the collected data. By changing the point of view from a specific employee to the whole team or a project, you can get a clear overview of how the team is performing. You will gain visibility over which employees worked on which days, who was absent, how many hours each employee worked, and which tasks they completed. You can also see which job sites were visited and how long employees spent at each location.

Validating submitted data is easy with Worker Connect Team Mode. Back office admin employees or supervisors can approve or reject working hours or job site data. If there are any discrepancies, they can leave a comment for the employee to address. They can validate data for a single day or an entire work period. Using super validation, admins can validate all data that's not been validated yet, with just a few clicks.

To export reports, you can choose between PDF or Excel format. With the PDF export, you can add a company logo, select which data to include in the report, and share reports with others without losing any of the formatting. With the Excel export, you can further manipulate or import the data into another system.

In short, what changes does the Team Mode feature bring?

The Team Mode feature in Worker Connect brings many changes that make it easier to collect and manage data for a team of workers.

Some of the highlighted features include:

  • Flexible licensing allows you to add and remove team members as needed, with monthly invoicing so that you only pay for the licenses you use.
  • The ability for team leaders with active licenses to collect and review working hours for the entire team, regardless if the other team members have an active license or not.
  • The offline mode allows you to collect data even if you're not connected to the internet. The data will be automatically synced as soon as the connection is back.
  • Easily collect data using a mobile app and submit it for approval. Before the working hours or job site data is submitted, it can be easily edited or deleted. Once the information is submitted, it can only be changed by an authorized user.
  • Generate reports based on the working hours and the collected equipment data and export them in PDF or Excel format.
  • Validate submitted data easily with the ability to approve or reject working hours or job site data. If there are any discrepancies, comments can be left for the employee to address.
